Jan Bang and Arve Henriksen present "After the Wildfire" - a project inspired by the fires in Macedonia and Greece and their consequences. First presented in 2023, the project uses electronics, trumpet, percussion, guitar, and traditional vocals in a discourse that moves freely between ambient, folk, and orchestral sounds. Jan Bang is known for using real-time sampling as a compositional tool, and Arve Henriksen for his unique way of playing the trumpet and using his voice. Joining them are Eivind Aarset, one of the central figures of the contemporary Norwegian scene (guitar and electronics), Ingar Zach (percussion), and Geir Østensjø (mixer).
