The cold and starry night in Wolf’s Meadow during the Garana Jazz Festival are recoloured every time that Petre Ionuțescu and Daniel Dorobanțu perform a concert. Their duet combines the sounds of the trumpet and piano with electronic music, an inspirational turn from jazz towards the ambiental.

The two artists have been collaborating for a very long time. Petre Ionuțescu and Daniel Dorobanțu released a collaboration project in 2018, entitled “Casa de Piatra” (trans. House of Stone). The album was produced with the support of the Jazz Banat Cultural Foundation, and contains the recording of the live concert performed by the two at the Church of the Monastery of Saint Mary in Radna. It was followed by “Alive at Garana Jazz Festuival,” the recording of their concert in 2019 at the festival.
