Arne Jansen is a twice award winner of the prestigios German award ECHO Jazz, in 2014 and 2017. These were the recognition of his original compositions and the warm sounds of his guitar.He studied jazz guitar at the University of Arts in Berlin and then with Pat Metheny, Mick Goodrick, John Abercrombie, Kurt Rosenwinkel and Philip Catherine. He was a member of the National Youth Jazz Orchestra in Germany and multiple collaborations with: Nils Landgren, Benny Greb, Niels Klein, Eva Kruse, Gitte Haenning, Tim Fischer, Fitzwilliam String Quartet, Nils Wülker Group, Matthias Schweighöfer and Katja Riemann. With his band, Arne Jansen Trio, he released two albums, “The Sleep Of Reason – Ode To Goya” (2013) and “Nine Firmaments” (2016), both of which received the Echo Jazz Award.
