Sonoterra Ensemble, led by saxophone player and poly-instrumentalist Cătălin Milea, transcends through this own compositions and improvisation, his music being conceived as a multi-dimensional sound journey with generous contexts, varied colours and force. The band breathes a common spirit, within which styles do nor represent borders, but means of expression. The message is what matters and also the intention that modelled this project since 2021 until it reached its current form.

The music of the band brings subtle reminders of Pink Floyd, Miles Davis ‘Kind of Blue’, Jan Garbarek, Radiohead or John Coltrane ‘A Love Supreme’ and is amplified by the artistry of the group, whose inventiveness and collaboration are spectacular.
