Renowned bassist Dixie Krauser returns to the Gărâna Jazz Festival after almost 20 years, with a jazz fusion project in which he will be joined by his old friends and collaborators Miși Farcaș, Doru Apreotesei and Nick Krakovski. "Dixie Krauser is one of the most valuable bass players Romania has ever had" (Cotidianul, 2011). Settled in Germany in the 1980s, he returned to Romania constantly after 1989 to play in various projects. Throughout his career, Dixie Krauser has played with the bands Pro Musica, Florian din Transilvania / Mircea Florian, Transylvania Phoenix, Cold Sweat, K.P.K.L.M. Blues Band, Flying Wood, Darkness Light, Stepan Project and many others. Last year he released the album "Kill Tumor".
