The Fusion Experience Quartet brings together legendary figures of jazz and fusion: Dave Weckl, Richard Bona, Michael Lecoq, and Ciro Manna. The project, initiated by Ciro Manna, is based on the idea of bringing together musicians from different cultures and traditions in a jazz/fusion formula open to global influences. Dave Weckl, the iconic drummer of the Chick Corea Electric Band, is one of the defining figures of the genre. Grammy winner Richard Bona combines bass, vocals, and African roots in a personal language that is immediately recognizable. Michael Lecoq brings his experience from the French crossover scene, and Ciro Manna completes the formula with an extensive career in studio, stage, and production, giving coherence to a project based on encounter and freedom of expression.
